🔬 Overview

Ipamorelin is a selective growth hormone secretagogue and ghrelin receptor agonist. It stimulates the pituitary gland to release growth hormone in a pulsatile fashion, closely mimicking the body's natural GH release pattern.

Its key differentiator from other GH secretagogues is its selectivity: Ipamorelin stimulates GH release with minimal impact on cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH — side effects commonly seen with earlier generation secretagogues like GHRP-2 and GHRP-6. This selectivity makes it highly valued in research for isolating GH-specific effects.

Ipamorelin is almost invariably studied in combination with a GHRH analogue (typically CJC-1295 no-DAC / Mod GRF 1-29) to produce a synergistic GH pulse — GHRH increases the number of somatotrophs responding while Ipamorelin amplifies the pulse magnitude.

💉 Dosing Protocol

ProtocolDoseFrequencyTimingNotes
Low100–150 mcg2x dailyFasted / pre-sleepIntroductory research dose
Standard200–300 mcg2–3x dailyFasted / pre-sleepMost studied protocol
High300 mcg3x dailyFasted / pre-sleep / post-workoutMaximum studied dose — diminishing returns above 300mcg per pulse

Timing note: GH secretagogues should be administered in a fasted state (2–3 hours after food) to maximise GH pulse. Insulin inhibits GH release. Pre-sleep administration capitalises on the natural GH pulse during slow-wave sleep.

⚗️ Reconstitution Instructions

  1. Allow 5mg vial and BAC water to reach room temperature
  2. Wipe vial tops with alcohol swab — allow to dry
  3. Add 2ml BAC water to 5mg vial → 2500 mcg/ml concentration
  4. Gently swirl to dissolve — solution is typically clear immediately
  5. 300mcg dose = 0.12ml = 12 IU on insulin syringe
  6. Store at 2–8°C. Use within 30 days.

🔗 Stack Compatibility

CJC-1295 no-DAC (synergistic — inject simultaneously) BPC-157 (recovery) TB-500 (systemic repair)

The Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 (no-DAC) stack is one of the most studied GH-stimulating combinations. CJC-1295 acts as the GHRH signal while Ipamorelin amplifies the pituitary response — the result is a significantly larger and more sustained GH pulse than either peptide alone. The two can be mixed in the same syringe and injected together.
