🔬 Overview

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a protective protein found in human gastric juice. It consists of 15 amino acids and has been the subject of extensive animal research demonstrating potent regenerative properties.

Its mechanism of action involves upregulation of growth hormone receptors, modulation of the nitric oxide (NO) system, interaction with the dopaminergic system, and promotion of angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation). Research has demonstrated efficacy in tendon and ligament repair, gut healing, neurological protection, and anti-inflammatory effects across numerous animal models.

Unlike many peptides, BPC-157 is notable for its stability in gastric acid, allowing oral administration in some research models. It does not require a carrier protein and has demonstrated systemic effects even when administered at sites distal to the injury.

⚗️ Reconstitution Instructions

  1. Allow 5mg vial and BAC water to reach room temperature
  2. Wipe vial tops with alcohol swab — allow to dry completely
  3. Draw 2ml of BAC water into a sterile 3ml syringe
  4. Insert needle at an angle into the BPC-157 vial
  5. Slowly inject BAC water down the inside wall of the vial — do not spray onto powder
  6. Gently swirl until fully dissolved — solution should be clear
  7. Resulting concentration: 2500 mcg/ml (250 mcg per 0.1ml / 10 IU)
  8. Store in refrigerator at 2–8°C, away from light. Use within 30 days.

📍 Injection Sites

For systemic effects (gut, neurological, general healing): subcutaneous injection into abdominal fat, rotating sites. Use an insulin syringe (29–31 gauge).

For localised effects (tendon, ligament, muscle injury): subcutaneous or intramuscular injection as close to the injury site as safely possible. Research suggests proximal injection yields superior local response.

Rotate injection sites with each administration to prevent lipodystrophy.

🔗 Stack Compatibility

TB-500 (synergistic healing) Ipamorelin (GH + repair) CJC-1295 (GH + systemic recovery)

BPC-157 and TB-500 are the most studied healing stack in animal research. BPC-157 provides localised acute repair while TB-500 operates systemically — the two are considered complementary. Combined administration in separate injections is common in research protocols.

📚 Research Notes

Animal studies have demonstrated BPC-157's ability to accelerate healing of transected Achilles tendons, improve healing in colitis models, reduce inflammation in arthritis models, and provide neuroprotection in CNS injury models.

Notably, BPC-157 has been shown to be stable in human gastric juice and maintains efficacy when administered orally in rat models of inflammatory bowel disease — a property unique among research peptides.

No studies have reported significant toxicity or adverse effects in animal models even at high doses. No human clinical trials have been completed at time of writing.
